With 23 hours and 30 min left I have invested 1338 points. I hope this will be enough to give me first place but will monitor progress and invest more only if my position drops.

All other places are up for grabs using the 1622 points needed to launch and the rewards from 4th onwards are still fairly good. So anyone who just wants to use up a few smaller items is just as welcome as the larger investor

I wonder just how quickly we can get this baby in the air?

I have joined and put in 576 points.

This makes 1914 out of 3000.

I will make this up to 700ish over time

I think you may need to put in at least 50%, otherwise the cost of 2nd & 3rd is unattractive. That is if you want 1st place. If not I will take it

Understand what you say but the timers would have prevented me adding more at that time. I would have looked in occasionally and if the odds were going the wrong way I would have added more later. Of course I could get unlucky and find someone who has a good stock of high value items who could take first quickly - I was gambling on two things - I would be surprised if anyone hung on to high levels of stock like that and secondly, as happened, that at least one other person would join whilst there were places available and the average first input would have put me firmly in first. The bottom line was that I wanted to get to over 300 silver tokens, and even second or third would have given me enough.

I may start another in a day or two as a low value items one - I wont be trying for a place but just kicking it off as a thank you to all the people who have contributed to my earlier launches. Thing is that I have enough prep items to kick off more than 40 red launches but barely enough to complete One. I figure that the reward for just completing is worth using up some of the prep packs
