I had various problems at the start, others besides the one you have shown. Restarting the game has cleared them - eventually.

There has also been a recent update, which may address these issues.

Thank you, the latest update I have is 8.49.10, if there's an update it usually does it automatically when I first launch the game. I went over to the microsoft store just now and it has on it "install" not "update", I'm a bit scared to click on install incase it loads my game from level 1. Your advice please?

Anyone know how to get the Cowboy Hat? It is pointing to my Stone Castle and I don't see that is a drop item. And I can't find it as an item anywhere else.

GI made a mistake by keeping those collection items in the tasks. Open a ticket with game support and show them the screenshot. They will fix it.

There is a huge difference between the quality/integrity of the game downloaded from the MS Store site and the other from the GI website directly. The MS Store version is notoriously buggy, and does not appear to receive any care from GI in terms of maintenance. Also it does not offer the same level of rewards. I would strongly recommend you use the version from the GI website for greater stability, and do not touch the MS Store version.

If you already have the GI version - which I have - then the original bugs worked their way out of the system after auto-updates. If you still have issues you can try forcing a download of game resources from the game itself, that might help. (Cog icon at bottom of screen -> Settings -> scroll down -> Restoring game resources. Then restart game)

Hope this helps. Mostly those of us with the GI version had to just sit and wait it out.
