G! Desktop platform NOT receiving updates

I had a look at the apps on my pc, there were two versions of Airport City installed, 1) Airport City G! 8.41.01, and 2) Airport City 8.42.01, I updated the game to the current version yesterday but because I didn't remove/uninstall the old version, it reverted back to it when I relaunched the game. I have since removed it so it can't do that again. Everything seems to be working now except for the fact it wiped my weekend bonus code off and I can't reclaim it.
I used to get this regularly, regularly losing the bonus, and this included losing the Grand Casino version and on contacting GI they advised it was because both versions were on the PC. I took the Airport City version off and kept Airport City GI on, and it was all good every week thereafter. GI gave me some greenies as compensation for those lost. Worth dropping a ticket for the bonus missed.

I did, I emailed G! directly, I advised them I was not happy, I explained everything. I also pointed out to them that when you "update" an app/software (for anything) the update is supposed to remove all previous versions of the app/software. I got a auto-response back advising me I should download the game via the microsoft store, because the one on the G! site was faulty, so I emailed them again (attached previous email) and told them I did download it from the Microsoft Store, it wasn't the G! site download. And I'm really not bothered about the current event, I usually sit this one out.
