How do I send a plane on a flight?

1) Open the Flights menu (plane icon in the lower tool bar) to see the list of places where you can send your plane. You can also choose a plane on a Stand and look through a list of destinations available for this type of planes.
2) If your resources satisfy the requirements for the flight, tap the Fly! button next to the destination you chose. Preparations for the flight will start automatically.
3) You need only to fuel the plane and get the passengers aboard. Now you are ready for flight!

Note that for each flight you’ll need a certain type of plane, various numbers of passengers (suitcase icon) and quantities of fuel (barrel icon). Some flights require additional items as well.

How do Runways work?

Runaways

Your airport can have no more than two Runways. New levels give you a chance to upgrade the Runways so that you can send any type of plane into flight. The Runway zone has two parts: Runways and bearing tracks that enable planes to move around during takeoff and landing without getting in each other’s way. If you are sending several planes into flights simultaneously, there is no need to worry: each one will take its place on a bearing track and start the voyage in its turn.
How does a Terminal work and what are the sections for?

Terminal lvl 1 and Terminal lvl 12
As you upgrade your Terminal, the maximum number of passengers also increases.

A Terminal contains several sections. Each section is attached to one Stand. Sections are necessary to take care of a plane more promptly, because each Stand has its own set of service vehicles.

Service Vehicle Park

If you have no Terminal section near a Stand, vehicles from your centralized Service Vehicle Park will be used to take care of it.

What is a Stand?
68425908_2923610900999444_7940145132907528192_n.png

Occupied and vacant Stands

We use Stands instead of hangars in Airport City. A Stand is a maintenance zone for planes. Here a plane waits for its flight; meanwhile the plane is refueled, takes passengers on board, and returns when the flight is over. A Stand can provide services for any type of plane, from Swallow to Condor, including both your own and your guests' planes.
Note that you’ll also need a free Stand to receive a guest plane. You can therefore reserve one Stand for guest planes or receive them on whichever Stand are free because your planes are on flights.

The number of Stands available to you depends on your level. However, note that if the Control Tower level does not allow you to purchase one more plane, you won’t be able to build another Stand either.

Control Tower lvl 1 and Control Tower lvl 12
The Control Tower is responsible for the maximum number of active planes at your disposal. Active planes are all the planes you are using at the moment included those in flights, staying on Stands or waiting for repair. Those planes in Reserve Hangar are not counted among your active ones.

Note that if the Control Tower level does not allow you to purchase another plane, you won’t be able to build another Stand either, although the maximum number of Stands depends on your level.
Why do I need parking lots?

Parking lot
More passengers! Parking lots are meant to increase the maximum capacity of a Terminal. This way, if your Terminal is full and you cannot receive more passengers, you can lift the limit by building another parking lot. The parking area is situated behind the Terminal sections.
What is a Ground Control?

Ground Control

We introduced the Ground Control to Airport City so that it is easier for you to direct flights. Put this building in your airport, and you will be able to set automatic refueling and boarding while preparing a flight or receiving guest flights. To do this, you need only to choose the Ground Control and activate automation. You can also disable this function any time you want. The Ground Control is available to all players level 4+.
What is a Boarding Bridge

Boarding Bridge

A Boarding Bridge accelerates boarding to long-range aircrafts.

I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused regarding stands and sections.
Right now I have ControlTower lvl8 wich means I can build 9 stands. Wich means I can build 9 sections?
I have 8 sections with option to build the 9th. But I cant build a stand first infront of the unbuilt section.
Why I am given the option to build a section but not the stand?

SOLVED it myself!
You can have equal amount of sections as lvl of ControlTower. Stands are counted including the one infront of main terminal.
