General Events in AC

Hello!
A question for the longtime players in here.

How often does events (similar to rock the sky, mail etc) occour in AC? Is it 4 a year, or 1 a month? What's the average?

5 to 6 times a year usually themed around major holidays. With an occasional odd one thrown in to make more interesting.
