I was also hit by the same bug. It jumped to 24 hrs. I restored yesterday night's back up.

Sorry, don't know that. I have a samsung galaxy on android. The app I use is helium. No idea if this works on IOS.
I do know that some of my neighbor's who use IOS and are backing up happily with their own app.
