Cosmic Fuel Station

If I had to give anyone a bit of advice before they embark on space mission it would be not to buy a Cosmic Fuel station - Solid fuel is a very low point item and you can only produce and collect one every couple of hours. I have only been in space for a few weeks now but already I have 88 of them stored. As well as getting them from fuel station you collect them fairly regularly from from space boxes when completing space collections from neighbours sites - Planetarium and Research labs are the best place to collect space items from. I usually collect 2 or 3 every night of visiting - so do the math! As far as I can see at the moment they serve no other real purpose

Planetarium (red space items), Astronaut Academy (blue space items) and Training Centre (green space items) are the best yields in your own AC.
The reward buildings from the launches also give a daily space item: Alien Legacy (green launch: A Space Odessey collection), Space Travel Monument (blue launch: History of Space Travel collection) and Rocket Garden (red launch: Water World collection).
Research Lab to a lesser extent as they can also yield those famous scientists for The Beautiful Minds collection.

When visiting neighbours don't tap those space reward buildings, but the Launch Pads, Mission Control Centres, Planetariums, Astronaut Academies and Training Centres (and Research Labs)...

Very true not to buy and upgrade the cosmic fuel station. A waste of time and resources. I upgraded mine to four items, which was a complete waste of greenies...
