Is anyone else having an issue with their buildings not doing what they say they do? You wait 25 days to get your special building, the info on the building says "This building increases your maximum city population by 20", then you find out that after it's built it doesn't, this is really annoying!! You still get the coins, but no increase in city population.

Just tested this out. You are correct.
I will report this to GI, but you should definitely report this to GI because they might give you compensation!
(In fact, anyone with a Modernist House should report this to GI support!)

I removed one of my Mordenist Houses and the pop max decreased by 20. This bug apparently does not affect everyone. Maybe depending on platform? I use android.

Maybe, I'm using Windows, have 3 Modernist Houses and none increased population, didn't decrease population either when I put them in the warehouse

In fact, after the completion of this building, 20 people will be deducted from the total population base of the city
For example, the original population base of your city is 4819/5810
After the construction is completed, your population base will become 4839/5810
There are not many buildings that can increase the total population base of the city
The population of 20 people displayed in this building actually refers to occupying 20 people

Ok well it needs to be a little clearer in it's description then, because to the average joe blow who reads it, would think that the building increases the population by 20. And I waited 25 days for this building? so not worth it.

God I feel like such an idiot, I was looking at the wrong icon. The orange suitcase "Passengers" is not the 3 People "Population" durrrr!!!
