Back to School/ Event Question

I was just wondering, as someone who has only really been playing a year, are the events the same every year? And are the collections for said events the same collections?

I'm asking as every time I've completed an event I immediately press the complete button, but, should I wait and keep collecting for the next few days (as I have completed all that is needed for this years back to school) so that I have a head start on next years event?

There will be same event next year too, and so on. It is impossible to fly all destinations to reach 3 stars in time of 13d only.... I did finished all destinations that are lower then Powerfull Delta. So this year i will try to do Powerfull Delta and Jumbo, both 3 stars (not sure for Jumbo), and next year Giants & Falcons.... Or maybe in next 2 years...

Yes, some events will be repeated, some come back after skipping a year, some never...
But this year's Back to School introduced 4 new Falcon, Giant, Jumbo and Powerful Delta destinations, so I think it will be repeated.

My advice: Do not click complete every time you complete a quest, because the quest collections earns you extra coins or buldings. Sometimes special items also disappear when you complete, so you cannot send them to your neighbours.

Extra buildings (like Universities) that drops collection items also means you can get a head start next year (sometime you have to demolish buildings to make way for other more important ones)..
