Android Any bonus to help flower drop rate?

Having terrible luck getting the pruning shears and also the flowers when I used them.

Just bought the pack of 30 pruning shears for 12 greens.

Is there any bonus I could use which would help the increase the drop rate of flowers?

Ive looked through but they all seems to be based around flights.

I would like to know if there is one, too.
So far, drop rate for me is around 10% for both flowers to pruning shears and the rate for getting pruning shears from neighbors' flowers.
Worst rate ever for any event.

I haven't try it but I would think spy glass will help, since it is a quest item

I gave up in the end and bought a few pruning shears packages. I thought it would take me two weeks to collect enough pruning shears from neighbours and that's valuable time I'm missing out on collecting space fuel!

Happy to say I've completed the flower and dolce vista part of the quest now.

When you run out, click on a flower and it will give you the option to buy one pruning shear for 2 greens or a set of 30 for 12 greens.

It only takes away 2 greens each time I try, never an option to buy 30. Also, it never gives me a flower when I buy shears, only very seldom when I collect shears from neighbours.

Just noticed you play on iOS. Maybe the Pruning Pack isnt available on iOS. Hopefully someone else will be able to confirm.

Its just a bit of patience that is needed, I have completed 4 flower collections and not brought any collections for extra shears. Sometimes I would get 4 out of 5 shears from neighbours, sometime 0 out of 5. And when picking flowers in my city it was the same.

Well today i used all of my neighbour visits to get shears. So 9 visits x 5 taps equals 45 chances. This got me 11 shears. So on average 1 in 4 to get a shear. That is reasonable.

However using those 11 shears in my city got me not a single flower. Not even a duplicate. This is just GI frustrating people into spending real cash to buy greenies.

0 for 11 is a joke. I don't think this quest is even worth the effort anymore.

Golden dice gave me 1 in 4 on the flowers in my own city. I just click a few flowers, 3 to 4 at a time and than wait a while before trying again.

Trouble is i am saving my greenies for the next land sale so i can expand. I think that is a better use than getting a bonus or a shears pack.

I agree that patience is needed in this quest (much like all quests). There are still eleven days left. I tried Sky Captain and Golden Dice bonus for this quest and found that it didn't help at all. Eventually, just tapping every day got me the shears and the flowers to complete that part of the quest.

I had a golden dice activated yesterday and noticed it had little effect on my collection of pruning shears and flowers. I collected 10 shears from 9 neighbour visits (previously averaged 9), and this resulted in 3 flower drops (previously averaged 2-3).

I now have 22 flowers collected since the quest began, but no roses as yet. I will persevere however as I like the sound of a chocolate factory
