I accidentally autocompleted, but still have a gift shop. The monument does need a road. I had to dismantle one third of my city to fit :€&@€)&

They need to enable land expansion soon.

greensmith, I don't think droprates of visiters are related to you completing the quest. shops stop dropping for you but keep dropping for neighbors

It is a collectable item, so yes there is one (only don't know which one)

That affects Guest planes? Spyglass says it increases the drop rates, but i've always expected it only worked with your own flights leaving and coming back....of course, it doesn't specify, so i suppose Guest Planes could be affected.

Chad Ladwig I found out from my friend that you do need a road for the Washington monument. It is size 3x3 adds 50 population to city and drops 400 coins once a day

My interpretation of Spy Glass is that it works for all drops. I've got lots of Spy Glass bonuses so I will use one and keep track of guest plane landings and drops and report back.

I used a Spy Glass and landed 55 guest planes. In one hour I got eight drops for The Pioneer Trail Collection and ten drops for other collections. The Spy Glass lasts six hours.
If you have a Spy Glass bonus in your Warehouse, it would probably be worth using it. If you don't have one and have to buy one with greenies ... your guess is as good as mine; personally, I would wait until the quest was almost over before I spent any greenies.
