Once coins become less needed you’ll start tilting towards more pax buildings too and less coins. Just takes time.

For lower level players, coins are important but once you have a big land area ( with those with 800 or more stars) and many buildings, coin collection is not an issue anymore as you will not be spending for additional structures and upgrades. I am at level 80 and my buildings are adequate. Coin collection is too tedious as I have a mix of 30 min, 1 hour, 4 hours duration collection. Am still however at coin collection strategy so I am not getting rid of the shorter duration yields. I can buy higher level planes but I forced myself to limit up to Falcon only. There are still a ot of things to be done in building upgrades and the last thing that I will do and make my gaming experience messy is to purchase higher level planes that puts pressure on my coins purchases and greenie requirements ) i.e. expanding the land and building structures. Maybe I will get there but it will be a long trek - not in months but in years of playing.

Well, although it sounds really biiiiig, it is actually not so much
I am one of the lucky players who took advantage of CBM offer. I have my Mint almost continuously running and if I manage to click 6 times daily on it (say 9am - midnight) I get 24 greenies daily or ~ 1,000 greenies for 42 days (the duration of the contract). I recently spent 2,160 greenies to upgrade my 6 Furniture Factories with 4 slots each. Now I plan to upgrade my Pharmaceutical Labs to 3 slots each what will cost additional 1,680 greenies. I still have to max out my city side and it means 36 expansion squares of land or another 3,790 greenies. And more and more and more tasks to do.... So my point is: that might have been a nice gift but it is not an ultimate advantage. Chloe will still need to do score of things to finish the game or just to come closer to its end

Exactly. It's not that big. But for someone who doesn't know (as we have seen in replies) it seems HUGE.

It's the entire idea of perspective. If you don't buy greenies, 1000 greenies seems like a lot (and maybe cheating). If you fly 30k pax a week, 250k seems like a lot (and maybe cheating).

Oh shoot. With the way you are telling stories on how to collect greenies, most of us are really amateurs only dreaming of collecting 3 greenies per week as bonus. By the way, what is this CBM offer and what is a Mint?

CBM - Casino Mint Bank - Greenie producing buildings that were only available for a time a while ago. They are not available to get now.

The suspicion is that G! is targeting long-term players who have these buildings.

So long term players still have these buildings currently? The older players seem to be the lucky ones with so many ways to save on items and greenies. Could be that they still have lots of greenies to spend.

They were very expensive to obtain. And it costs a lot to charge them. Would it be fair for G! to take these buildings away?

Way before my time on this game but I suspect GI removed them in hopes to force the purchase of greenies? Either way I don't see it as fair though appears these buildings only generated greenies for the first 30 days then only produced coins thereafter? Still a big advantage but likely deserving due to costs?

I don't see it as any more of an advantage than competing against players who pay for greenies and premium class events.

You need a lot of gold tokens to restart a mint, if people complaining tried doing launches to gain that sort of gold then they would see how much fuel comes alongside that as well as coins. Also fly all your adventure maps to get a load of gold coins, and SC, then along with this you'll get loads of collections done from collectible producing buildings and have plenty of bonuses etc. This is how we all get there and mints aren't the be all and end all, they do help buy some bonuses, land occasionally etc but those gold tokens can be put into police stations and those type buildings that make the game easier.

When it comes down to it you've got to put a lot of effort and strategy in, I've been playing this game from the start and discovered this forum not long after. I still spend money, have a silver subscription and buy premium passes, it would be extremely unfair take those cbm away. I already have four planetarium in the warehouse that cost hundreds of greenies, all those buildings upgraded just like darek that can't be used so more wasted greens. Its gi who need talking to not those of us who helped build this community and make the game what it is, we've worked with Ivan etc for years!

I've said it many times, and the latest witch hunt is just a symptom of the root problem:
The Vets Are Being Neglected.
It has been happening for years, hence the lack of progress in terms of high level launch missions, levels, planes, etc...and now we see veterans with lots of resources due to their years of stockpiling being penalized. However, what the game needs is a new dimension of gameplay that will keep veterans entertained as well as motivate new players to stick around, as well as communication to G! that we are still here, and we deserved to be heard and acknowledged.
