In my experience, it's random. Right now I have 56 Lab Rats, 50 Frogs, 34 Blue-Green Algae, 25 Wheat and 0 Fruit Flies in the Experiments in Space Collection. I'm grinding Cape Canaveral flights every two hours and every time Fruit Flies drop I give myself a mental high-five. Cheers, Tom
