There are two threads in the News section that detail this new quest.
Mine is here: https://www.airportcitygame.com/threads/long-awaited-mail-new-quest.3957/
Another one, with great information from TimP, is here...
flip123,
The Post Office drops items from the You've Got Mail Collection, not Letters of Hope. My Post Office isn't built yet so I can't say for sure, but I think that is the correct answer.
UPDATE: According to Pakman, his Post Office does drop Letters of Hope. I stand corrected.
Cheers,
Tom
CAPTCHA,
See my guide here: https://www.airportcitygame.com/threads/long-awaited-mail-new-quest.3957/
You get them by tapping on Lost Mail around your city. You need the Stationery Knives to tap on that Lost Mail. You also get them -- or Stationery Knives -- by tapping on Lost Mail around your...
idnlgeah,
I had the same space problem. But the Post Office is only available for 13 days or until you finish the new quest. After that it's gone forever. I deleted/sold a 2x2 residence that is always available in the Store and placed my Post Office there. I can replace that residence anytime...
billsnj,
Don't pay two greenies per knife. I bought a Large Mailbag from the Store (Resources) for twelve greenies that gave me 20 Letters of Hope (enough to start flying planes) and 30 Stationery Knives. Or just wait; after all we have 13 more days to complete the quest.
Cheers,
Tom
billsnj,
Good cheat but it's really not necessary. You have to get four of the Express Delivery Collection to finish the quest. With each reward you get a Golden Postage Stamp, so you will have four GPSs. Each GPS covers at least five Mail Planes. So with four GPSs you will hit your 20 Mail...

Red Fox One,
It's an easy quest if you're willing to spend some greenies. Since my tomgreensmith iPhone game is Cursed by GI (because I bought $9.99 worth of greenies during their three-for-one sale and they delivered 1,056 instead of 96 greenies and said I hacked the game -- I didn't, it was...
I got lucky and finished the quest very quickly on my tomgreensmith iPhone game. I figured I was probably going to delete it if GI didn't restore my gifting, so what the heck. I paid twelve greenies for the Large Mailbag containing 20 Letters of Hope and 30 Stationery Knives. I was very lucky on...
IMHO these planes aren't worth the effort. A 60-minute flight only takes 54 minutes? Wow!!! A five-hour flight only takes four-and-a-half hours? Big deal!!!
I started this quest with nine Jets because I've been working on getting all the stars for the Space Needle destinations. So I flew my nine...
For my Waverly huff iPad game, I just flew my nine Jets twice to Madagascar, using Fuel Catalyst to speed up the flights. I spent four greenies on a Golden Dice. Here's what I got for my 18 flights:
Mailbags - 7
Postman Caps - 4
Scooters - 6
Postage Stamps - 6
Rubber Stamps - 4
So I already...
I visited my ten neighbors today and got ten Stationery Knives when I tapped on their Lost Mail (average of one knife per neighbor). Those got me five Letters of Hope, two Parcels and a Postcard when I tapped on my own Lost Mail. This is one of those quests that's dependent on our once-a-day...
I didn't see the great summary from TimP and started my own thread in the News section. Sorry, Tim, didn't mean to conflict with your work.
Cheers,
Tom
