GI knows all the complaints about this event. Task plane issue, black wraith issue, general unhappiness with task refresh time. Nothing else to do right now. I strongly suggest not stressing about this event. You can use it to get more stars if you have not 3-starred the event destinations yet...

I was thinking that they have so many platforms, it must be hard to update and address bugs on all of them. Much more efficient to downsize so they can work on new features in the game.

It is not a bug. It was an intentional change.

I have put this information on the Dark Ritual wiki page, and in the Guide section of the Dark Skies wiki page. Moral of the story, make sure you have plenty of traps before using Dark Ritual.

I was told it is "for the foreseeable future". Furthermore, they are encouraging players to switch to a different platform. I am interpreting "foreseeable future" as a very long time, if not indefinitely.

This has been reported to GI and I suggested compensation. Please do submit a ticket to support.

Previously, the Black Wraiths would remain in the city until they were banished. They are only replaced with White Phantoms after they are banished and if the Dark Ritual bonus has run out.

I got it from Game Insight, who posted the information on Facebook and Discord as Announcements.

The G! Desktop platform has not received the latest update and is not expected to receive further updates in the foreseeable future. This platform does not have events now.

I never uninstall anything. I just download the update through the Microsoft Store.
