Golden dice would have done nothing for you at those locations. Dice is what you use at the excavation locations. Golden dice is what you use at the maps that you receive from the excavation locations.

The bonuses (passenger/coin increases) that the buildings from the collections give you. The third helicopter gives you the best. Some people will fly helicopter locations to get the stars.

Speed up your helicopters. I have found that to be the easiest.
