After the update you have to bring your neighbor list up, which forces a sync with the server which makes any waiting gifts become available. After bringing your neighbor list up you can even watch the small exclamation appear denoting waiting gifts.

Not so sure about that fighter jet info. I have 2 I have only used one of them on 1 map. Did about 20 flights to area 51 but my fighter is still tucked away in its hangar. I suppose it could disappear after I activate another map but it definitely didn't leave after a few hours.

I was wondering this myself. My game has never once actually told me there was an update. This morning, however, I get a pop up stating there is a new version. Go to the windows store check for update ....nothing. Open the game pop up appears again, this time I click update which opens 2 web...
