Green Launches are absolutely worth it for these reasons. Most people who launch Greens are really doing it for the maps. If you're working on getting coins, fuel, etc. there are better ways. Working on getting Green maps and frankly just launching Greens will net you the alien legacy monuments.

At this point it would be nice if GI would issue a statement. Something to the affect that they are aware of the issue, and working on the problem and possibly some estimate on when services will be restored.
