Well, complaining here did the trick! I've now gotten 3 of the Bird's Nest and so have 3 Carriage Houses built or under construction. I'm going to keep going until I get 6 total.

I gather that other people are getting Bird's Nest to drop? At this point I have 13 Strong Character but 0 Bird's Nest.:eek: I'm not too worried yet, since there are still 9 days to go.

I only have 16 out of the 40 instruments needed, with only 10 hours to go on the event. Drop rates have been atrocious!

I hope it's true that the guest plane drop rate has been tweaked upwards. I had pretty much decided to give up on this event until I saw today's posts.

But I can watch ads without leaving my house or even putting on a bra!!! :ROFLMAO: Also I can start an ad on one device, then pick up another device and work on my gifting there, or check forum/reddit/email/blogs on my laptop.

I'm having gifting and neighbor visiting problems across all 3 devices, a mix of both Android and iOS.

Reporting in after several days running the new update: I've seen huge increase in stability. After an initial hiccup I've had no crashes. No problems at all gifting. Very few animation pauses. Occassional slowness or complete hangs when visiting neighbors. So basically it's all fixed. :D

I force-quit the game, restarted it. It immediately crashed. I restarted it again and it was sluggish for 5 seconds then seemed fine.

After I updated my game was working fine earlier today (before reset at midnight UTC). Now however when I returned to the game it is completely frozen. Prior to updating it would often been frozen for 10-15 seconds when I opened the game. Now however I am at 8 minutes and counting!

I did not send a ticket, for the reasons others stated (problems so widespread GI already knew about them). I did not receive 15 greenies the first time I opened the game after updating. I closed the game and reopened, and got 15 greenies.
