yes, it can be restored. it may take support a couple of days to recover it.

one of your tech side building has been removed and you get 300 coins for it. In the new update ground control has been automated so there is no need for the building. See latest update to understand why.

another work around, that is even easier, just click on your own terminal and then close the pop up. It gets the plane moving. The issue seems to be plane spacing, the planes follow each other to closely and the game pauses a plane. I noticed late the pause between the plane there is none, or...

It maybe hard to do in this climate as developers are not considered essential personnel and it is difficult to coordinate new events if you are working from home. It is easier to recycle an event and make some minor tweaks.
