I check my games about every 4-5 hours, and collect gifts each time. Then, all of a sudden, I'll have 20-40 gifts from 20-24 hours previously. Your gifts are probably hanging out in the cloud somewhere - hopefully soon to reappear.

I'm going for 4 Gingerbread Houses. I don't open my games every hour, so candy mansion passengers would be wasted. Only 1200 more candy canes and I'll have #4.

I have to agree - it's a pain. I click mine off while collecting from my snowdrifts as I am also over the 100 limit on warming drinks. Then I leave it off while collecting from neighbors' snowdrifts, as I go over the 100 limit on shovels, but I'm collecting candy canes. Then I make sure I...

Still going up. I'm at rep level 19 now, and can gift 29. I'm guessing we'll go up to rep 20 with 30 gifts.

In my case, the connection to the internet was fine, but I wasn't connecting to the server. I would visit Madlen, then all would be ok again. Out of 3 games on the same internet connection, usually only 1 would be acting up.

I think it would be safest to assume that if it were a forum member, they would message you asking if they could join the alliance. I don't recognize the name at all.

Is this one of your accounts? I went ahead & accepted, but if it's not a forum member, I may need to drop him in the future as I generally only accept forum members.

Fortunately, I finished my alliance destinations earlier and this is a great way to rebuild flight items for next weeks flights. It's getting hard to keep up with VRs and pills with 10 Condors flying, but I'm getting quite a few of them now, and will be back up to max before Sunday reset.
