OK, so this one is a bit of a big swing... Maybe @TeresaLisboa can help out here :)
The Movie Palace looks like the Eden Theatre in Lisbon, Portugal. The main similarities are the glass parts in the corners and the concave windows in front. Absent is the concrete façade in front of the...
I definitely agree with the library in Canada - the spire in front is identical.
I feel like the College of Music looks like the style of a building in northeastern US -- very repressed and puritan. I can do some digging.
I have been looking for the House of Wax and Forsaken Abbey, but...
As an aside, I also get that problem when running a VC contract. The solution that works for me is that I visit Madlen after I collect from every ~18 buildings. It slows me down a bit, but not as much as having to restart or losing pax because the game crashed 😒
But the building itself looks nothing like the one in the game. It is sort of like looking for a newspaper building with a giant typewriter on it, or a pharmacy with a giant pill. I think these are all generic buildings with no direct matches in real life.
Yes. If the offer is paint for your plane, this is what happens. Once the offer changes to something else, everything works normally. We just have to wait for the update...

OK, so I found a close match to the Emperor's Tower. The top and corners of the roof are a dead match for the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, China (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_Crane_Tower). It just has fewer levels than the one in the game.
Following Teboho's general rule of "complain on the forum and it shall arrive"... I found the Gates of Amun. I just had to realize that the architecture was not of the traditional gates (with only 2 open sides like the Gates of Dendur), but had substantial Roman influence in the form of...
Some buildings just have too many matches. For example, the Nuclear Power Plant could be the one in Burke County, Georgia, or the one in North Perry Village, or probably a few more. (And now I am probably on several watch lists for googling nuclear power plants so much!).
The ones that are...
Clock Tower House seems to be the Singer House in St. Petersburg, Russia. Specifically, it is the Christmas facade of that building. The only problem is that the real building lacks a clock (!!). But the rest matches pretty darn well.
