Not a match, but I agree to the top is the same. Probably a trend in architecture at the time. I feel like I have seen that "stepped" look during my building searches. Maybe in NYC? I will have to dig around, but no time now.
Indeed, it has the highest pax per time in the game. But it takes a lot of resources (lollipops and earplugs). Barkmi gave me the great advice to buy Falcon adventure maps from the Duke so I can sometimes fly Falcons for pax without asking for earplugs every day.
Best use of Lucky Ticket would be to save up Pruning Shears and Butterfly Nets to use them all when the Lucky Ticket is active. As for flights, you can see below the flights that give best currency per time and best currency per fuel (including with fuel speed-ups). So, when using Lucky...
The Jazz Club looks like a combination of a few corner bars/clubs in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It has the coloring of Johnny White's Corner Pub (now permanently closed 😢), but it has the front doors and green awning of the Krazy Korner (a very-well-known jazz club). You can only see...
1) FR = Friend Request. This is when you enter someone's code to add them as a friend/neighbor.
2) Bearing-Wall House is a passenger building in the game and you are required to visit it for the current event (https://www.airportcitygame.com/wiki/bearing_wall_house/)

Many people on this forum are F2P. From what I can tell, you have some coins now, but are limited by pax. Thus, your strategy should be to maximize pax availability per area so you can pursue fun things in the game. Random suggestions I have -- every suggestion comes with the phrase "do this...
I figured out the missing half-circle on top of the Twisting Tower. It was in the original design. I assume they did not use it in reality because you would need one heck of a good drainage system to deal with the rain and debris that would accumulate.
Alien Legacy looks like an H.R. Giger work to me. Closest I can get is the Space Jockey in the film Alien. There are differences, but I assume there are copyright issues with an exact copy.
OK, so this one is a bit complicated. It is the central portion of the Timberline Lodge near Mount Hood in Oregon, USA. It is called the Haunted Hotel because it was used for exterior shots of Stanley Kubrick's movie The Shining. That movie is based on Stephen King's novel, The Shining, which...
Well, the "Ministry of Truth" is responsible for propaganda in Orwell's 1984. This building appears to be a concept design of the Palace of the Soviets (construction started, but the building was used for metal before completion). The main difference between the game and the concept is the...
Given the rose window, the Tranquil Abode is not a castle but is a Catholic church. The closest I can get is the Basilica of St. Nicholas in Amsterdam. Happy for people to pick this up ... I have things to do right now :)
The Winter Castle appears to be a truncated version of Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, given the placement and uneven nature of the towers.
