Well, I did it on one of my support games - I paid all slots in lvl1, even before lvl2 was built and I would bet that the prices are like I wrote them. I might however have done it so quickly that again I put some info wrong... Perhaps I'll go and unlock slots in another RH to #5 to double check it.

I updated my RH2 to lvl3 last fall and I paid every of the four slots - so no free slot there either. Mouse updated his RH2 to lvl4 in winter and again no free slots - all paid. So you have not lost anything.

@Madge59230 just upgraded to lvl3 RH in one of my supports. No free slot given (i.e. slot 13 has some a price in greenies). I found one mistake: 120 visits at neighbor's bushes = 720 cupcakes and well, theoretically you might receive 501 sickles from neighbors (500 + Madlen) :) but still, 30k cupcakes in 4 days stinks

Same story with me, just couple of years ago. The game became really interesting when I joined this forum few years ago. Before that I was playing it for one or two months and was about to give up when I found the site.

Two thoughts in reply to the above: A) you should have kept the number of open slots, so if you had two before the update and 1 after that, open a ticket and B) upgrade your new reserve hangar to lvl2 - it will cost you 15,000 coins and few items but you will get a second opened slot. And third...

I would bet it's 2 greenies per item - price is 2 at lvl1 and 2 at lvl5, i.e. 3x8x2 = 48, speed up price is 56-48=8

No, whatever is locked stays locked. The only thing what is not confirmed is if you upgrade to lvl3 will you get 1 free slot (actually first slot from lvl3 = slot 13) or not.
