With this new update, I am finding the gameplay exhausting. What at first looked like a burbling fountain of coins and passengers now looks like a toilet backing up. It's cluttered and confusing.

Well, then, there is a question looking for an answer, because, like you, I never received a single request from the "Add Friends" feature. It's been posited that most of the games rotating through there are in fact defunct, but you say your son receives requests that way regularly? I mean it...

Can you click on the happy sun icon on the right to find out? The expansion icon is second from the right, and it gives details including the cost.

With this event, l'm not sure if the fact that we can't send each other pruning shears is a glitch (we could last year) or a form of torture. I don't see myself being able to complete that part of the quest with the drop rates I experienced today. Not fun!

In my pre-forum days, I had the same experience. I could pick from the "Add Friends" screen, but if I didn't initiate it, I didn't get friends. I always assumed that it was because my game accounts aren't attached to any social networks (Facebook, Twitter). What about yours?

Well, the update looks beautiful. And, as usual, I experienced a variety of glitches, some with both devices, some only in one (my devices are the same type of droid). And although I had sticky planes (planes that won't leave the runway) before the update, the update has brought a new type...

In the end, I found it easier to do this edit from a desktop/ PC, perfectly easy. Devices/phones/androids like apps, not so much websites. .
