I finally finished CW... once lol :cry:

I've played a lot of games on FB. To prevent that, you just have to change your privacy settings for sharing from that game so it only shares to people who also play the game, or just yourself. So that's NBD to me. Now THOSE are reasons that I definitely switched to the mobile platform after...

I swear reading the comments on the FB page made me want to switch platforms. I had no clue that FB players could trade collection items so many of them finished with no issues.

I JUST got an ATM from LA literally moments before I came back to the forum lol of course, no CW drops though. Brutal.

That would only make too much sense. I honestly assumed that's how it would be at the beginning of the quest so I left my big planes out to fly to those destinations, but considering my dismal success with those drops obviously that was all wrong.

Now my CW is 1-2-0-2-1 They're allegedly dropping 3 more Volcanologist Sets on their FB page today, but unless they're actually useful items, I imagine I'm never finishing CW. Running Spyglass until it ends in hopes of getting something to drop eventually.

I can't make this stuff up. It's on the Airport City Mobile FB page. There are droves of comments from people complaining that this was impossible and that's their response. One mod in particular either has a poor understanding of humor or extremely poor translations back to English.

They post codes on their Facebook page. When this quest first launched, it was on that same Facebook page that they said "everyone" would be able to finish. Now the moderators are responding to comments saying "well, at least you tried, right?" and literally laughing at people who complain.

I've seen that everyone who has had great success with this quest was on Windows. Fairly ridiculous, but it is what it is. I'm an obsessive kind of person so I can't just quit, but I wish I would have weeks ago before I was committed to it. CW will be the only set I won't finish.

I tried the aforementioned Golden Dice + Spyglass combo and got 6 Gates of Hell drops after 200 trees, which is better than usual for sure. However considering most of them were dupes, I still need to finish that collection once more. While the bonuses were running I completed around 120 flights...

I've been flying planes to the CW locations the entire time and have 3 drops total.

Yeah, I always use spy glass around 7P EST to get the drops twice from my neighbors. However, even with spy glass I have only finished gates of hell once after over 70 trees x day since the quest started. Golden dice specifically states that it is for flights so it seems excessive to use them...

I JUST finished my first Gates of Hell collection and I've used hundreds upon hundreds of Chainsaws with Spyglass bonus. This quest was ridiculous!

Well, running a Spy Glass I visited all neighbors for the day and every single tree dropped a chainsaw. Back at my city, all but 5 trees that I cut down dropped a filter (75+ trees including gifted chainsaws). Landed 40 flights to CW destinations (Bali, LA, Lima, Iceland, Seattle) and only got...

I still only have 2 items from CW so hopefully the drop rate is actually improving. Will throw on some bonuses as my planes land today and see what happens.
