It has only been 3 months since the last time, but we have some new-ish players here and a hacking issue to consider. Thus, here is the last reminder post with some updates:
1) To get more neighbors for launching, post your friend code here and in the Launch Chat (Update: Due to hacking issues, it would be a good idea to use private messages to send your friend code).
2) Add instructions into your game name such as "Wait2QL" or "PassMe". The first indicates that no one should launch your rocket unless there are at least 2 QL holders (launching with only 1 QL is very sad in this event). The latter means that anyone can pass you and you will not be mad about it.
3) Good launch etiquette for this event: Never pass someone with a QL who has added 576 points and does not have "PassMe" in their game name.
4) If you do not have a lot of neighbors, consider just joining others with a QL such that your QL makes at least 2 QLs on the launch. You may not get first place, but the rewards for other places are still very good and you get event currency.
5) If you are worried you will accidentally start a Blue or Red launch, remove the roads from those launch pads so there is no possible way for you to start one of those launches.
NOTE: By posting your friend code, you may get neighbors who do not follow your launch rules. I find that this event helps me to delete my less than friendly neighbors.
That is just the basics. There may be varying circumstances that will require you to make decisions -- consider how you would want others to behave on your launches and utilize the communication tools you have to coordinate things.
