You're right. The capability should be, if you receive a gift, you should be able to send a gift back regardless of how many gifts you received.

What is eastern special? I am conflicted. I like quests (makes the game really exciting) but at the same time I want to catch up on the missions on the left screen.

I'm surprised there is no Chinese New Year quest or maybe there will be a St. Patrick's quest.
