Ice runways

Now that I completed the bad Santa missions can't get rid of the ice runways. It says a plane has taken off from this runway must wait for it to return but all planes are back. Any help much appreciated!!

Same, though in a similar thread it seems that android users can delete it. I need to wait till the morning when all the planes are on the ground and try again

I have the same problem.
Even if all my planes have landed, I still can't delete the runway.

Does anyone knows how to delete the runway?

I'm using an iPhone 4s (iOS 6.0.1).

It seems that it can't be deleted. Maybe at the next upgrade it will happen.
