Well, that event was something. I had my first fish drop of the event just over 13 hours before the end of the event, so I figured I had a chance of completing the event. Two spy glasses later (covering pretty much the rest of that time,) no drops from neighbors through two days worth of visits. My last run through my markets (within an hour of the end of the event), my third fish drops. Since I was so close, I used some spare greenies for a Easter Set collection, and I got my last fish (ending up with the Dali Theater and Museum and a Rabbit Hole.) It took a lot of effort to complete the event-considering the level of randomness involved in the drops of items, I can't help but to think about the level of effort many people put in to the event who did not end up completing it.

Congratulations. Never was able to complete the event.

I'll play the quest but it's not a priority. In gifting, please first send building items, then spare props followed by nets and unmodified Christmas shears.
Congrats to those who completed the Easter event.
I was not able to complete, it was not for lack of effort.
I worked really hard to gather cash for a new town hall because the markets needed population. I finally got the cash, built my town hall only to learn it took 4, yes FOUR days to build. That was 4 days I had to wait to build more farmers markets.
I've decided that I'm not chasing after another quest.
Games should be fun. I am not having fun playing in a manic manner.
If I can win the quest by playing an hour in the morning and 1 or two at night, then I will win. If not, then eventually, it's likely I won't care to play at all.
I am not excited to wake up to another quest after losing the prior.
I plan to enjoy my real spring which is finally arriving, and not waste effort feeling like a kid waiting for scraps from momma.

SO had an issue with my PC was getting a blinking screen. It had a loop started wherein a thumbnail handler extraction host process was starting over and over. After a bit of time I was able to get to a point to hit a restore point. Unfortunately with this came a time traveler/cheater message. Have lost my easter event reward, my green launch is no longer launched and I can not collect literally anything from my airport. So won't be able to gift or do anything until GI takes care of the issue. However if I don't get back the meager amount of gold and silver tokens I had and get a better restoration of my game I may just move on. Will keep you informed so if I do take that course my neighbors won't waste gifts on me.

Didn't complete the easter event, it was so hard to get the items..
Congrats to all of you who could complete it.

Now I've started the new spring event so am looking for the butterfly net and shears, found some by visiting neighbours but not so much. Hope this event will give more to complete the collections.
