Question regarding Alliance "Protocol"

I joined an alliance 2 days ago - just one of those that are listed in the game and you put in a request to join. They supposedly had 3/4 members, and looked like they were just beginning.

When they accepted me, there were only 2 other members, so I think one quit. While I have flown 5700 passengers since I joined, the owner of the alliance hasn't flown any, and the other member has only flown a couple of hundred.

So - after all this rambling, my question is: Is it rude to just quit after 2 days? Should I give them some more time? I don't know the people in question - it was just one of those random listings.

If they are not on the forum, and not active so that you can communicate with them, and their alliance clearly isn't working, I would leave without any worries. There are plenty of other alliances - just post in the windows forum and I am sure one will have a gap.

I generally tend to give people in game at least 1 or 2 full weeks before deeming them unreliable.
But yeah, as Ralphy said: if there are no means of communication it's not going to be fun.
