Log off

I'm trying to sort out the problem of visiting neighbours issue. Last email from GI is to log off the game and then log back in.
Anybody know how to log off on the iPad version? No obvious buttons anywhere in the game or in iPad settings.

I have done, but no reply from them and wanted to get on visiting to get through the quest. When I hear I will post the reply.
