Red, Blue and green launches are obvious. But what are QL launches and how do they work?

Every user can use Quantum Leap (QL). It is valid for 24 hours and you can use it for any type of launch: gree, blue or red. If you are launching without QL, lander/rocket will return in 24h.
If you're launching alone, or only 1QL users is participating in one launch, then lander/rocket will return in 2h 23m.
2QL users in one launch: return in 14 minutes
3QL users in one launch: return in 1m 20sec
4QL users in one launch: return in 8 second
5QL or more in one launch: instant return

Might be, that even 4QL means instant return. So it is good to launch in group with friends.

There are daily so-called "QL parties", especially Red launch. Check Top100 in red launches, some are posting their game code. Add them, if they are forum users too, PM them, so they will know you're forum user too. Enjoy launching!

Where do you get/find quantum leap?

When you will reach 3 stars on every launch (green, blue and red), you will get QL as reward.
Since QL is pretty expensive by Duke (twice per week, 350 greenies) now you have oportunity to get ot in sale: 99 greenies only.
Otherwise every user, who is in TOP3 (gold, silver and bronze) for each rocket, gets the chest with QL inside. Check on top3 for each rocket for past week and click on chest. You will see what is the reward.

Where do you get/find quantum leap?

Your get your first 3QLs you earn when you 3-star one of the space flights. Don't use them right away, wait till you get loads of launch items and points, and look for a QL party, so you can do like 50 launches on your QL while taking many 1st places.
If you use your QL to do like 5 launches, it's a waste, don't activate it unless you're sure you'll make most out of it.

Then there are space collections. When you do crazy amount of space launches, you'll get some maps. You then prepare well (you need loads of fuel, passengers, many of the required type of plane, and bonuses like Golden Dice) and then you activate the map and fly it like there is no tomorrow to get as many drops as possible before the map expires. (it's bit like adventure maps, just more pressure). And then you complete the collection and it gives you a QL. A very good player can get few dozens of QLs per year this way.
