iOS iOS11 and AC

Hi all
Next week Apple will be releasing the new iOS11 and GI is waiting that moment to release the new AC version. But anyone knows what happens to those who can't upgrade the iOS from 10.3.3 to 11?

I think there was a post somewhere that stated iOS players need to upgrade to version 9 or above to install the next update.

You should not need to update to iOS ver 11 to play AC.
But Game Insight need to make sure that AC will work with the new iOS 11.

Hope so!
In all iOS previous upgrades, my AC started to freeze and only stopped after I got the system up-to-date.

I was actually on iOS version 8 until a few weeks ago and it worked fine.

But because of that post I read, I decided to upgrade my iPad before the AC update rolls out.
