Need neighbors guys and greenies...

I want to expand my city..
should I pay using my coins or with my greenies (cash) or should I pay using both of them?
I dont want to click it coz it may lost my cash... hope to hear an answer... sorry im just new here.

In general, you should use only coins to buy land, until you can no longer do so and have to use greens (Land expansion 11 and above, if I remember correctly?)
.
However, this would slow your progress somewhat as you cannot use coins to buy coin / passenger generating buildings and it takes time to collect more coins.

If you are fine with spending money on the game, you can always buy greenies to speed up the progress. Keep in mind however that if you are not patient, there will always be quests and tasks that take ages to to complete unless you use greenies. It's up you actually.

My approach requires a bit of patience since it will take a while to expand, but it's cheaper than actually spending real money.

I tend to stockpile greenies through a couple of different methods:
(1) You get 1 greenie every time you level up.
(2) If you're on Android and follow Airport City on Facebook, there's a promo code that comes out either every weekend or every other weekend that gives 2 or 3 greenies and I think 2,000 coins. @Dave usually posts the code somewhere as well.
(3) I know this happens on Android but not sure about the other operating systems...every so often, you'll be prompted to install another game and you'll get usually 3, 4 or 5 greenies for doing so. You can then delete that game and eventually you can do the same thing again and get me greenies.

Once I've got some greenies stockpiled, I just wait until the expansion offers come around when they give it for 50% off. I usually can get a couple of expansions that way (of course that depends on how many greenies I can stock up on).

If anyone had a better or more efficient approach, I'm all ears!

In my opinion, as a newbie i buyed Land expansion until it was available for 10,000 coins and then expanding land is so costly that it slows down (mostly stops) your whole progress. I want to suggest that you may buy land till it is available for 30000 coins but after that you must buy it with cash as it wil continue your progress and will help to allocate coins in upgrading buildings.

Every time u expand wait for 50% offer.then expand it with greenies......
It make sure that ur Cost for land doesn't increase every time u expand..
I expanded wrongly at start now i know and my cost for expanding is stable at 15 green without offer.......
and 7 green with offer.........

you can buy 5-6 spots for 15/7 greenies combination after that all the rest of the expansions is 20/10 greenies.

No more increase yet. Currently 20/10 is the limit but who knows what will happen when future expansion plans materialize.

the first 5/6 expansions are coins or 10/5, second 5/6 are coins or 15/7. The rest of the expansions are 20/10 greenies only.

fuel station items like triple wire reinforced frame, etc cannot be gifted they can only be flown for or if you want spend money for greenies.
