Android Down the rabbit hole: keys not counting

In my game, the keys are not counting. I visit my neighbors and use my knifes to collect mushrooms, but the counter of my event stays at 2 keys. Someone else experiencing this bug?

Make sure you have an internet connection active, as that's required for event currency.

I am having the issue whereby I'm collecting keys okay, but it's not triggering the bronze/silver/platinum list to count me. I have about 190 keys.

I have been using the knives for mushroom collection since 15 minutes after the event began, but still have not collected a single mushroom.

I am doing 30-40 clicks per day and I got 3 mushrooms so far.
