Android Don't rely on Google Play Backup

Had 2,185,350 coins
Had completed the Valentines Quest but not finalised it yet
Had 3* all apart from the Jumbo destination

Restored from Google Play
Level 68
1,508,726 coins
Need to collect all the flowers again
Need to complete 30 flights on the Delta destination
Lost the items I had been collecting by watching videos to complete building

Sent GI an email so will have to see what they say.

Ouch that hurts

The only obvious thing I can think of is are you sure the lvl70 was loged into Google play? I'm not really a android user so sorry if I'm wrong but seems you can still play without signing in so might not have been able to backup?

Only used Google play backup on a lvl10 fuel account myself but that worked as it should. Have taken as a habit to visit a neighbor before I close the game as that seems to force a server sync just in case lately but no idea if it actually helps.

Was definitely backed up to Google as usually play on my tablet, but as I was on holiday copied the game across to my mobile as could use 4g. As soon as I come back, transferred back over to my tablet.

Always visit madalin before closing game as been caught out before.

I think it was not connected.
They even save my 1 plane ready to fly when I restore.
