Can't visit some friends

Hi all wondering if any of you are having this issue. I have emailed GI about it but some of you who are on my list may also want to complain because you're losing visits. I can't visit any of the following friends

Chloe11111, hi, I have 3 types of neighbors. the biggest group, no problems, 1 group with the waiting bug (after 5 minutes I restart the game) and 1 group (small) where I get the message they have an old version. This iscorrect for tdv, bali hi and sophie, but I also get the message with people I don't expect it...

I don't get the message for any. The game just hangs
