Some of us have found a way to save our game, due to multiple glitches, errors, crashes, and now unfortunately those stuck in launches, unable to complete a mission.
First and foremost here is how you save your game every time you close.
C:\Users\Sammy\AppData\Local\Packages\0EB8BD08.AirportCity_erk4rrwmt7jyt\LocalState.
First a user must make sure the box under the view tab in the C, or users folder, that says hidden items, is checked. This allows you to view the folder AppData. Now follow down the tree until you arrive the LocalState folder. Inside you will see a SaveGame.bin file. This file is crucial in restoring your game.
Create a separate folder under your user name. Label it AirportCityGame. If you have multiple profiles, then label them accordingly. Copy and save the bin file into your created game folder every day. If the game crashes, you can open and close game twice, creating the LocalState folder and then copy and past your saved bin file.
Secondly those who have some type of office program. Take screen shots of errors as they occur using the sniping tool and save those shots in that folder you created to save your game. When contacting GI for support, they always ask for screen shots. If you copy and paste all errors you are explaining and save as PDF file, attach it to your email.
As someone in IT and having experience troubleshooting, this gives those of us helping you a clearer picture of what is actually going on. Words do not always explain what may be wrong, but including pics to show what exactly is, GI may be able to fix the problem a whole lot quicker.
