If having issues with Windows apps go to microsoft website and look for this.
Appsdiagnostic10.diagcab
Download, and run it if having issues with Windows Store, or Store Apps.
I got this from my friend Mike at Microsoft, the last time we tried to troubleshoot a Store issue

For Windows8, you can try:
- Control Panel
- Under System and Security, there's a "Find and fix problems"
- Then "Fix problems with Windows Update"

Not entirely sure if this does the trick, but at least this is how I got it to work.
