I updated to 1.82 today, I don't see any change, still with the same major issues of very long 8 minute game start/load time and power drain. The power drain is even worse now comparing with 1.80 yesterday. Haven't tried to visit any neighbor as I saw people still having problems on that...

Scud: thanks for the hint, tapping the Romantic Passenger count will allow you to use the 10, 50, 150 packs, but not the 3. The 3-passenger pack seems coming a lot more often than the larger packs though, and it is still only accessable throug the warehouse :(.

air canillas: the loading page takes about 5 - 10 minutes to load now, so you just need to wait and keep tapping your screen if you have a sleep setting. I have posted some issues (and solution hopefully) I found on the latest update in the "On the wings of love - Android" thread...
