Rpf64, My experience tells me that you can return an item to a neighbor if you haven't already sent that neighbor a gift during that "sending period." I think it's 24 hours but I'm not sure. I know as soon as I hit my limit of 20 gifts the "Return" button doesn't work. Perhaps one of the Airport...
