I think it's comparable to high level players having generators, air conditioners, computers, dispatcher consoles, etc to gift. Gives the ability to help lower level players.

I agree. I had to get rid of my S3 PPDs when I 3-starred all special alliance destinations, now I'm flying my S3 turboprops, which I'll have to get rid of when I get those all 3-starred. Then on to S3 jets. I really hate getting rid of those S3 planes, but it's the only way to advance in...

Received - thanks! I no longer need any terminal or control tower items, but fuel is always appreciated when you have an extra gifting slot.

No, but if you go on AC facebook, they have a link that will give you the greenies & coins for your facebook game.

Pretty much the only benefit of cosmic fuel stations is for your neighbors to visit. Good drop rates for visits.
