It was - we have stayed there before as well as so dog friendly, great beers and whiskeys, and fantastic food. We have a cottage this year, but couldn't resist a meal there.

Experimenting with adding spoilers, but not sure it is right yet - trying to create 2, "gifting policy" and "gifts I can send" - but one seems to be inside the other - will keep trying! WHOOP WHOOP - done it!

Seemed to have lost getting updates for this thread! - your lunch sounds fantastic. We are in the Lake District for a few days holiday, and had a steak and ale pie from a restaurant/pub with its own micro-brewery, it was excellent - and fantastic portions, so no desert! tea was fresh baked local...
