Unfortunately, that is not an item that can be gifted. You have to fly to the event destinations for the university items. If you have 1600 flasks, you can buy Bowl of Riches which will help with the drops.

That was a tough event! I think a lot of people didn't finish it, even the 2nd year it was offered. We should be getting it again next month, if they are doing repeats.

That's usually because your game is not connecting with the server. I hate to sound like GI support, but are you sure you have a good internet connection? Try visiting Madlen, or accepting or sending a gift. If you're still looking for neighbors with planetariums, feel free to send my 3 games...

Make sure you don't have any windows updates pending. I've had the same problem, only to find out I had to restart the computer to finish updating something or another, then the new AC update showed up.
