Yeah, this is how I see it too. There was a period where I was very serious about my alliance, and now not so much. Just join one that has the same goals as you.
I have 157. I have my buildings split about 2/3 commercial and 1/3 passenger, but like many have pretty much upgraded anything that requires coins as far as they can go, so coins are piling up (I have 5m sitting around). That said, I'm going back through every flight level trying to get Expert...
Sometimes. Everyone once in a while there will be a quest that requires a specific building that you may not have. For cheap buildings it's not a big deal to put them in inventory until needed (or just sell them), but for expensive buildings it's just best to leave it on the board.

Alas, that is the problem at the higher levels - you are earning so many coins that there isn't anything left really to spend them on. Any upgrades or specials all cost greenies only.
You can both be right. At lower levels Tesla power plants aren't always the best option. When land squares are at 50 green, the math shows that Tesla comes out ahead.

I hear you, I'm at a similar point and wondering what do to next. You are at the point where every building has been upgraded and now it's about just completing stars for your aircraft and space launches. It's also a point where it's all about the greenies and how to do a lot without spending...
Well, it's also how often you collect coins, it's not like you play 24/7, right? The Arts Center isn't the best, but you start running out of better buildings at some point. I would also agree that in some respects it's more about just having a fun city. At very high levels, coins are kinda...
Thank you so much for a very warm welcome. I've been playing for over a year (I've lost track of the exact time) and enjoy the game very much. I look forward to learning much from everyone, and hope I can contribute back some day.
