If this is your first launch, I would advise joining an experienced forum member to guarantee a Launch. If you already have 900+ fuel in your arsenal, do your own launch by all means. Post in the forum to invite others to join you.

I don't know... different people have different reactions. Some are thankful that another person has joined and helped finished a race he/she could not have finished by himself/herself, even though that person took #1 spot away. Some people cannot accept that another person joined his/her race...

I got mine after three launches too! I was 2nd on my first flight, then 1st on my second, and 1st on my third. Maybe coming 2nd is a prerequisite! I think @deidei was on her 7th flight when she completed the collection. Quite certain she was not always 1st.

You definitely get 2 items for space odyssey if you come in 1st. Coming in 2nd also gives me 1 item. I have only come in 3rd once, and there was no space odyssey item for me.
