Have you turned it off completely and unplugged? Computers have small battery that keeps the clock running when there is no power. This battery dies after few years, so since then every time computer loses all power (main battery and AC power), the clock reverts to some predefined date, usually...
I think it's not ports, it's something blocking your access to some sites (which provide parts of wikia). It's either antivirus/firewall, ad blocker or your ISP intercepting parts of traffic. Try disabling those programs on your computer or use another device (tablet/phone). If that doesn't...
IMHO the time change can't be noticed by a program if you don't run it during the hour affected by the change. As it happens at night, most people would never notice.
Just don't play the night of change and you should be fine.
This is my first completed event so I'm bit confused: I clicked "complete" and the window just closed. I noticed some experience and that's all. I no longer have the event button. Do we get the central office building in few days when the event ends or should I contact support?
@Wired Parrott Yeah, I've already abandoned the idea of 20 neighbors, as I think it would make launches too difficult - and I plan to do them, eventually.
I already have many good neighbors that return gifts every day, and there is no way of communicating with them other than returning. So I'll...
It did, thank you. I do understand that "send in return" doesn't return the exact item, only the class/slot the received gift occupies. Or that cross-platform gifts get corrupted 100%. Are there other problems with the return button?
So, I have a question for you: do they clear items from previous years or they remain? That is, if I stash knives now will I have it easier next year?
With some neighbors I'm already exchanging Plasma Clots and Old Lanterns, it would help to know if what we're doing makes sense : )
Thanks for the info, guys, it's invaluable!
I barely have 200k now. Maybe in a month or 2 I'll get to MC3, I'll get back to you then!
BTW, are there any cross-platform limits on launches, like ones on gifting?
20k is pretty nice income, but I just noticed that it costs 600k just to get mission3 + red pad.
How can you dozens daily if it's supposed to take 24h to return?
Can you please elaborate on how do you make money on launches? All info I can find is only on how many items are required to do the launch, so I didn't even bothered with mission control.
Also, how do you get the items to feed the rocket?
Back on topic: I think that the cash sale we want (3x)...
Yeah, spreadsheet was the first thing I did, that's how I trim my list.
But it's very time consuming. What I hope to eventually achieve is to click "send in return" 20 times and be done.
Yeah, that's the only problem - I have over 60 of unsolicited requests and it'll be difficult to find you without notice. And there are only 20 gifts per day, I really rather not exceed that number of neighbors...
I accepted you and sent beacon.
Exactly. One way (win->ios) the gift gets converted to Fuel (3). The other way (android->win) you get the notification, but there is nothing on the list.
@KenDuckySmith As far as both sides keep clicked "return gift" , the two neighbors can spend whole year building up 365 Old Lanterns in anticipation of next event.
I'm doing it with few of my neighbors right now.
Don't know if GI won't wipe them before next iteration of the event, though : )
@Ten33go Thanks, but I get the forum rules. I just don't get how this thread can work without everyone being neighbor with everyone in the first place.
