Actually, I think this is just a standard reply that they use for many occasions. I don't believe this is specifically for the QL failures.

Well, I just did send an email to G! about this subject. Of course I have actually not lost a QL , so I could only ask in general terms if they are going to solve this situation quickly. Let's see what their answer will be. Cheers Erik

Sorry, don't know that. I have a samsung galaxy on android. The app I use is helium. No idea if this works on IOS. I do know that some of my neighbor's who use IOS and are backing up happily with their own app.
