And they will not - as Ivan mentioned they are working to resolve the issue with 100 limit to old players. I don't care what support said as they would also say that you cannot transfer game to other platform.

In alliance team of 18 players - 6 task completed will get all of you to first step - 2 rep points and 1st bonus, 1 task from each player is enough for 2nd step + 4 alliance points - so this is mostly achievable - for more you need very dedicated team with lots of fuel and some bonuses.

There probably will be some rearrangements of powers within alliances -but best rewards would be achievable to only few - for balancing purposes this new option is good - for best ones probably not so.

As reply for your long post I'll give you short answer - ask all old players who reach their levels while red launch did not exist, while platforms were separated and you couldn't find a team to launch together and when there where no QLs except for 100th green/blue launch or buy for 350...

first thing you need is to gain right amount of stars, then in flight list you will see what building you need. Also you can check wiki and see what specific building (and flight item) you need to do specific flight.

what happened to you happened to almost every player here and not just once, I once had to start from 0. Yes it's 1st level of support and they are support for all their games and they are not aware of specific gameplay.
